Autumn = Tour-time?
What rhymes with 'I'm sorta carrying a flailing mist' ?
Time for a Harry and Chris Mailing list! And whilst we all wonder if we've peaked too soon with that audacious opener, we do have some exciting things coming up to share with you if you dare to dream and read on. Before we get to those here's a couple of things we've been up to since we last spoke/kindly dropped into your inbox with permission.

A Return To Gigg(l)ing!
Whilst performing in lockdown confirmed what we always knew that we can make each other laugh even without an audience, we've also really missed having an audience (especially you)! Summer brought the chance to perform to masked bubbles* in Battersea Art Centre's outdoor courtyard space with the surreal experience of trying to tell if people are smiling purely by their eyes (made more surreal by the host opening with an anti-mask rant that people (including us) weren't sure was a joke or not!?) - We've also loved performing as part of greenbelt's wild at home festival where anyone could tune in from the comfort of their own home! If only there was a gig coming up where people could watch live from the venue or ALSO stream it from home!?
*one of many phrases we never imagined saying at the start of this year

Taking WFH attire to the next level...
IS There A Gig Coming Up Where People Could Watch Live From The Venue Or Also Stream It From Home?
Yes! We are performing at one of our favourite venues from our tours, Norden Farm in Maidenhead this Thursday October 8th, 2020! We're in the main space with lots of room to be socially distanced but they also have put tickets online for you to be able to stream it and be part of the fun from home. You can buy tickets here!

A video from our last visit to Maidenhead - one of the few venues close enough to Didcot for this song to make any sense at all.
What if we'd rather watch you play interspersed between some leading Christian thinkers as part of an online Baptist Conference?
We've got you covered. It's no secret that we've loved playing to various baptists over the years ever since we realised they laugh more at our jokes about Justin Welby. Also they're based in Didcot!* We're back at an online version of BMS' Catalyst Live event where we will also be singing our Didcot song amongst others on Friday, so hopefully we'll all just about have recovered from the night before.
*we cannot legally claim that all baptists are based in Didcot, but there's definitely some.

In one possible sign it's been a slower few months for many of us, our most commented on post on instagram BY FAR is Harry discovering Chris cuts his pizza with scissors and lots of people agreeing with Harry/Chris that it is an unusual/perfectly logical way to do things (delete as appropriate)
What if it's been so long since I went to a gig that the whole concept is alien to me and I just want to talk about something else?
We feel you brother/sister/sibling. Important behind the scenes news is that Chris has delivered the 6 remaining re-useable coffee cups we have in stock to Harry so that they can be posted out ever-so-slightly more efficiently as Harry doesn't have any one year old babies relying on him to keep them alive (he hopes!) by not abandoning them to go to the post-office. In solo news Chris is very close to releasing his solo album that he's been promising everyone since Edinburgh last year, Harry is on the cusp of re-re-rescheduling his tour dates for next spring and we are both excited to have two days of hanging out mostly with each other and possibly some of you either in person or on the internet. In the meantime thanks to these carefully saved hyperlinks from the last newsletter you can still listen to all of our albums on Spotify, Watch our streamed show from a few months ago on Youtube or buy t-shirts, CDs, or the one or two remaining mugs on our brand new website!?
All that's left to say is: we love you! It is a strange time, and we will grow from it. We can't wait to be back on stage, and see you in person.
Big love,
